Our day started at 4 am as all of the princesses met and prepared for coronation. We were all excited and felt beautiful in our pink gowns. As the coronation neared, I felt very emotional knowing that Rose Festival was coming to an end. The day, however, marked the beginning of a new journey for me– the journey as queen. When my name was announced I was shocked and excited. I still can’t believe it. I am so honored to have been crowned the 2009 Queen of Rosaria.
